Renovation work on Llantarnam Lodge was completed at the beginning of 2015 and the facility is now fully operational. The home is managed by Rita Patel who has achieved her registered managers award and has many years experience in providing care to mental health, dementia, physical disability and sensory loss service users. Rita leads a team of dedicated individuals who have undertaken a robust training program advocated by The Care Council for Wales. This ensures all staff has the required underpinning knowledge to provide care according to current best practice in line with our philosophy. All staff in the facility will be trained to at least NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or will be working towards this.
Llantarnam Lodge provides superior quality accommodation in single, spacious en suite room each with their own wet room. Each of our 30 rooms is finished to the highest standard with a state of the art divan bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers and an armchair. Five of our ground floor bedrooms have access to our landscaped grounds through French doors. Our facilities are second to none and within our landscaped garden you can find The Cube, our multipurpose recreational block which has all the facilities to promote independence and creativity.
